Update 11/29/2017 My husband and I ran the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day. I completed the 3 miles in 42 min 16 sec. I ran and walked. It was super cold, so my daughter's didn't run with us. We did it! This pic was taken close to the end, I was tired! I completed the challenge? Did you?
Hey Hey hey! I've been stepping up my running game and adding it to my regular workout of weight lifting because... I am doing a Turkey Trot 5K in my area and so is my family (a little by force)! I thought why not issue a challenge! The challenge is to run a Turkey Trot/ run or whatever the 5K is in your area on Thanksgiving day! Grab your family and friends! It is a twofold feel good activity. It is good exercise for you and you are giving to a charity (most 5K's are fundraisers)!
Thanksgiving day is 49 days away! You have plenty of time to get motivated and start getting in shape (if you're not already) for a 5K. Remember you can walk, run or run/walk! Just as long as you finish the race. You already have the tools to activate your vision and start a change journey (previous blog posts) these will be helpful for this challenge! Submit photos or short vids of you on race day! You can share them on FB and/or Instagram @loveswayhealth, or send them to Loveswayhealth@gmail.com and I will post them on this site. If you live in the Pittsburgh area you can join me! Shoot me an email and I can give you race details. I believe in you! You can do this! This may be the start to a great running career!
